Summary: From SpaceX to LAX: A nationwide motion-driven UI campaign crafted entirely in-house.
CHALLENGE
Our Smart Fridges serve as the primary point-of-sale across locations ranging from LAX to the SpaceX campus. The touchscreen—1080x1920 and prominently placed—is the first interaction customers have with the brand. Originally static, the interface needed to evolve into something more engaging, informative, and reflective of our identity.
SOLUTION
I led the end-to-end creative—from concepting and filming to animation and deployment—of a monthly rotation of video and motion-based content. What began as a static green button and simple “Order Here” text became a dynamic top-third video loop, eventually expanding to full-screen visuals that marry utility with brand storytelling.
OUTCOME
The result is an ever-evolving suite of motion-driven UI designs that blend accessibility, UX best practices, and eye-catching animation. Whether someone is two feet away or passing by at a distance, the content is optimized to attract attention, reinforce the brand, and drive interaction. These designs are seen by millions every year, across some of the country’s most visible venues.
REFLECTION
This work embodies the intersection of motion, messaging, and user experience. It’s not just about making something beautiful—it’s about making the experience feel seamless, inspiring, and instantly understandable. Creating for such a highly visible space has challenged me to constantly refine how we speak visually and ensure our first impression is always our best.
